The District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) and the school district are excited to launch a new parent series this year. Intended to empower parents/caregivers with practical insights that can enhance their understanding and ability to guide their children through the complexities of today's world, we've partnered to bring in high-quality speakers and industry leaders for the 2023/24 school year.

Session #5: Empowering Literacy - Strategies for Parents

Join us for an informative DPAC Parent session focusing on literacy. Donna Wright, Acting Director of Instruction, Elementary/Early Learning, will discuss the foundations of literacy and offer tips for supporting your child at home. Debbie Born, Tech Helping Teacher, will also share insights on using technological tools to enhance student reading skills. This session promises valuable insights and practical strategies for fostering literacy development in your child.
