Access Your Courses

There are two ways to log into your AVS student account. 

Option 1: Student Course Login (MyAbbyVirtual Option)

  • This method requires that you to enter the My Abby Virtual username previously emailed to you by AVS and a password that you create or created when you received the "Enrolment Notification" email from AVS at the start of your course.

Option 2: Student Course Login (Single Sign On Option)

  • You must have an Abbotsford School District Outlook student email account that you are able to log into (The username and password for your @abbyschools.ca email are NOT the same as your Brightspace or MyAbbyVirtual username or password. If you do not know how to access your SD34 Outlook student email please contact AVS or your homeroom teacher at your school. 

  • Click on the button below, and then click on the blue login button on the page that opens. Do not enter a username or password on the next screen. Those fields remain blank.

Login Tips (MyAbbyVirtual Method)

 

Please review the following information carefully. Each login method has different, specific requirements that must be met in order to login successfully.

 

Option 1: Student Course Login (MyAbbyVirtual Option)

Tips for Option #1

  • The username and login information emailed to you after you registered at AVS only work when using Option 1. If you do not remember your username, search your email for an email from AVS with the subject line "Enrolment Notification for..."
  • If you do not know your MyAbbyVirtual password, click "Forgot your username or password?" on the login screen.
  • If you are resetting your password, when prompted to enter your email address, you must enter the same address that you used as the "student email" address when you registered at AVS.

Tips for Option #2

  • You must have an Abbotsford School District Outlook student email account that you know the username and password for to use this method. The email account will end in @abbyschools.ca.

  • When you reach the screen pictured above, do not enter a username or password in the fields below the blue button. Those fields remain blank, Just click on the blue button and you will be able to access your courses.
