Squirrel Obstacle Course

AVS students in Kindergarten - Grade 2 have designed and created a Squirrel Obstacle Course & captured some amazing footage of "Blackie" & friend attempting the rope ladder!

February Student of the Month

Keneun De Serranno is in our grade 8 Fusion program and is a motivated and conscientious student. He participates enthusiastically in all of his classes at Abbotsford Virtual School and is a consistently strong student. Keneun has been at AVS for the past two years and has demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and good citizenship. He is a good friend, has a great sense of humor, and works hard. Outside of school Keneun plays lacrosse and does Jiu-Jitsu. Keep up the excellent effort!

Enhanced safety measures for K-12 schools

Enhanced safety measures and $121.2 million in federal funding are on the way, as the Province continues to strengthen health and safety plans in K-12 schools to keep students, teachers and staff safe during the pandemic.

All middle and secondary students and K-12 staff will now be required to wear non-medical masks in all indoor areas, including when they are with their learning groups. The only exceptions are when:
