Ms. Nicholson is thrilled to work at Abbotsford Virtual School where students have the unique flexibility to study every day in a way that works best for their schedules. Our ability to access information at the touch of a button is changing how we interact with our world, and AVS is on the cutting edge of blending technology with education. 
Ms. Nicholson enjoys being part of the innovative and hardworking team at AVS. She pioneered the online middle school program at AVS, liaised with ARC/MRC to get full-time students free access cards for school hours, and was instrumental in the creation and promotion of the Fusion program. She is the first person in the school district to offer Sociology 11 and 12, after successfully getting board approval for the courses. She started up and runs the Student of the Month program and is also the Indigenous Ambassador for AVS.   
She teaches BC First Peoples 12, English Studies 12, English Studies 12 Adult, Food Studies 11/12, Housing and Living Environments 12, Interpersonal and Family Relationships 11, 20th Century World History 12, and Sociology 11/12.
