September 2022 REGISTRATION INFO- Grade 1-12 Fully Enrolled Program
Spaces are still available in fully enrolled K-12 Programs.-AVS fully enrolled student registration is open to any appropriatley aged student living within the Abbotsford School District. However, It is not possible for students in grades K-9 to cross enroll between AVS and another school, OR to hold a spot at a student’s regular school while enrolled with AVS. Grade K-9 students must be fully enrolled with AVS.
-The siblings of continuing AVS students will be given first priority (if they are registered before March 4, 2022) Placement for other students will then be based on the order in which the completed registrations were received at AVS, so it is important to register ASAP.
-All NEW to AVS students registering for fully enrolled programs must register at their catchment school as well as completing the AVS registion form, until AVS has confirmed that space is available. AVS will confirm if space is available by March 11 in most cases
-Please do not apply if you are looking for a short-term enrollment for a student who is intending to return to their current school mid-year. We do not have the staffing to absorb students from other schools looking for a temporary alternative to onsite attendance, and spots will not be held for students at their previous school once they are accepted at AVS.
-Out of district students may register, but the Ministry is updating some policies, so we cannot guarantee that we are able to accept them until March 11, 2022. Therefore it is CRITICAL that out of district students register at their catchment school as well as at AVS until confirmation of acceptance is received from AVS. In district students will be given priority.
-Parents of students with serious health concerns are encouraged to contact their current principal or the school board office for recommendations.
How to register for a fully enrolled AVS Grade 1-12 Program
To register, please fill out the registration form ON OR AFTER February 14, 2022, and select the "Fully Enrolled K-12" option at the bottom of the first page. Please register before March 4, 2022. Registration must be submitted through the registration form on the AVS website. (this website)
At the course selection portion please select the appropriate grade level "program". You do not need to select individual courses.
In the Withdrawal section of the registation form, please enter the information for any the last school that you have previously registered your child at.
Please submit COMPLETE registrations only with student ID and proof of address uploaded at the time of submission. You must be able to present the originals of the documents that you upload, in person at the school for confirmation, if requested by the school at a future date.

Kindergarten Registration opened on January 31, 2022. Please visit https://avs.abbyschools.ca/registration for more info. Spots are still available.
Grade 10-12 Online Secondary Course Registration for Cross-Enrolled or Adult Students
Students in grades 10-12 who wish to cross enroll at AVS while attending another school, and upgrading adults can register now for Grade 10-12 online courses in our summer session (June 20- July 29, 2022). Click here to register Please select "Cross Enrolled Gr. 10-12" or "Graduated Students and Non Grad Adults" program at the end of the first page.
Students in Grade 9 or lower are not able to cross enroll with AVS, and can only register as fully enrolled students for a September start.
